Social Justice Dictionary
Caste - According to Mariam-Webster, a caste (noun) can be a “system of rigid social stratification characterized by hereditary status, endogamy, and social barriers sanctioned by custom, law, or religion.” In society, there are specific characteristics, behaviors, and assumptions that are casted on individuals who identify with or are attributed to certain societal groups, such as race and gender.
Bipartisan - According to the Oxford definition “bipartisan” is an adjective, meaning “involving the agreement or cooperation of two political parties that usually oppose each other's policies.” For example, “For government officials to pass civil rights legislation, we must get Bipartisan support.”
